Ride Cherngtalay

We can arrange delivery to many hotels, villas and apartments around Cherngtalay. Send us your accommodation name or an accurate map location, together with your rental dates and the number of bikes required. We can then check availability and confirm whether delivery can be arranged to your address. We do not deliver to or collect from Phuket Airport or Phuket Bus Station.

To rent a motorbike you will need to provide a copy of your passport, pay a ฿1,000 deposit and sign a written rental agreement. A suitable Thai or international driving licence valid for motorcycles is also required. Helmets are supplied if required, and riders and passengers are legally required to wear them. Free delivery is available in many Phuket locations for rentals of four days or longer, subject to location, availability and confirmation. Delivery and collection are not available at Phuket Airport or Phuket Bus Station. The two names are often used together, but they do not describe exactly the same place. Bang Tao generally refers to the beach and coastal resort area, while Cherngtalay includes the inland neighbourhoods, local roads and commercial areas behind the coast. Your exact location is therefore important when arranging delivery.

Cherngtalay is spread across a wider area, and your accommodation may not be within comfortable walking distance of the beach, shops or restaurants. A motorbike can make short local journeys more convenient and allows you to travel between your accommodation, Bang Tao Beach, Boat Avenue and the surrounding neighbourhoods at your own pace.

The area contains busy main roads, smaller residential streets and access roads serving villas and resorts. Traffic can build near shopping and dining areas, particularly at popular times of day. Watch for vehicles entering from side roads, allow extra space in traffic and ride more cautiously when the road surface is wet.

Bang Tao Beach, Laguna Phuket and Boat Avenue are all within the surrounding area. You can also travel towards Surin Beach and Kamala to the south or towards Layan and other parts of northern Phuket. For longer journeys, consider the distance, traffic, weather and your riding experience before setting out.

After the booking details have been confirmed, we will agree a suitable meeting place and time. At the handover, you can check the bike, familiarise yourself with its controls and ask any questions before starting your rental. The return or collection arrangements can also be confirmed at this stage.
