Ride Bang Tao

We can arrange delivery to many hotels, villas and apartments around Bang Tao Beach, Laguna Phuket and Cherngtalay. Send us the name or location of your accommodation, your required dates and the number of bikes needed. We can then check availability and confirm whether delivery can be arranged for your stay. We do not deliver to or collect from Phuket Airport or Phuket Bus Station.

To rent a motorbike you will need to provide a copy of your passport, pay a ฿1,000 deposit and sign a written rental agreement. A suitable Thai or international driving licence valid for motorcycles is also required. Helmets are supplied if required, and riders and passengers are legally required to wear them. Free delivery is available in many Phuket locations for rentals of four days or longer, subject to location, availability and confirmation. Delivery and collection are not available at Phuket Airport or Phuket Bus Station. Tell us your accommodation area and rental dates when you enquire so we can confirm the suitable options available for your stay.

Bang Tao covers a much wider area than the beachfront alone. Hotels and villas are spread between the coast, Laguna Phuket, Boat Avenue and inland parts of Cherngtalay. A motorbike can make it easier to travel between your accommodation, the beach, restaurants and shops without arranging separate transport for every journey.

Delivery enquiries are welcome from customers staying around Bang Tao Beach, Laguna Phuket, Boat Avenue and nearby parts of Cherngtalay. As villas and apartments can sometimes be away from the main roads, please send an accurate property name or map location rather than only writing “Bang Tao”.

Many journeys around Bang Tao are short, but traffic can become busy near shopping, dining and resort entrances. Roads towards neighbouring west-coast areas include bends and changes in gradient. Allow extra time during busy periods and take additional care when the roads are wet.

Surin Beach is a convenient nearby destination to the south, with Kamala farther along the west coast. Travelling north provides access towards Layan and other parts of northern Phuket. Longer journeys across the island are also possible, but you should plan around distance, traffic, weather and your riding experience.

Someone using a bike mainly for local trips around Bang Tao may have different requirements from a rider planning longer journeys around Phuket. We can then discuss the suitable options available for your dates.

Once your dates and bike have been confirmed, we will agree a practical meeting place and time. At the handover, you can check the bike, become familiar with the controls and ask any final questions before beginning your rental. Collection arrangements can also be confirmed at this stage.
