Can you deliver to Kata Beach and Kata Noi?
We can arrange motorbike delivery to many hotels, villas and apartments around Kata Beach and Kata Noi. Send us the name or location of your accommodation, your rental dates and the number of bikes required, and we will confirm the available options and handover arrangements. We do not deliver to or collect from Phuket Airport or Phuket Bus Station.
What do I need to rent a motorbike?
To rent a motorbike you will need to provide a copy of your passport, pay a ฿1,000 deposit and sign a written rental agreement. A suitable Thai or international driving licence valid for motorcycles is also required. Helmets are supplied if required, and riders and passengers are legally required to wear them. Free delivery is available in many Phuket locations for rentals of four days or longer, subject to location, availability and confirmation. Delivery and collection are not available at Phuket Airport or Phuket Bus Station. Tell us your accommodation area and rental dates when you enquire so we can confirm the suitable options available for your stay.
Is a motorbike useful for getting around Kata?
A motorbike gives you the flexibility to travel between Kata Beach, Kata Noi and nearby Karon without having to arrange transport for every journey. It can also be useful if your accommodation is away from the beach or on one of the hillier roads around Kata.
Where can I explore from Kata by motorbike?
Karon is immediately north of Kata, while Chalong, Rawai and other parts of southern Phuket can be reached by road. The area is also convenient for exploring the coast and viewpoints around the south of the island. Choose journeys that suit your riding experience and always consider traffic, road and weather conditions.
What should I include in my rental enquiry?
Tell us your preferred collection and return dates, where you are staying and how many people will be riding. If you already know the type of journeys you are planning, include that too. These details help us check suitable available bikes and arrange a practical handover location.
How does the motorbike handover work in Kata?
Once your rental details and an available bike have been confirmed, we will agree a meeting place and time with you. At the handover, you can check the bike, ask any final questions and make sure you are comfortable with the controls before beginning your rental.
