Ride Chalong

We can arrange delivery to many hotels, villas and apartments around Chalong. Send us the name or accurate location of your accommodation, your required rental dates and the number of bikes needed. We can then check availability and confirm whether delivery can be arranged for your stay. We do not deliver to or collect from Phuket Airport or Phuket Bus Station.

To rent a motorbike you will need to provide a copy of your passport, pay a ฿1,000 deposit and sign a written rental agreement. A suitable Thai or international driving licence valid for motorcycles is also required. Helmets are supplied if required, and riders and passengers are legally required to wear them. Free delivery is available in many Phuket locations for rentals of four days or longer, subject to location, availability and confirmation. Delivery and collection are not available at Phuket Airport or Phuket Bus Station. Chalong is a large area rather than a compact beach resort. Accommodation, restaurants, shops, fitness centres and other local facilities can be spread across different roads. A motorbike can make everyday journeys more convenient and gives you the flexibility to visit nearby parts of southern Phuket without arranging transport for each trip.

Yes, you can enquire about delivery to accommodation near Chalong Pier as well as other parts of the Chalong area. If you are visiting the pier for a boat trip or diving excursion, check where the bike can be parked and allow sufficient time for traffic before a scheduled departure.

Chalong has a mixture of busy main routes and quieter side roads. Traffic can build around Chalong Circle and on the principal roads leading towards Phuket Town, Rawai, Kata and Karon. Allow extra time at busy periods, watch carefully for vehicles changing lanes and reduce your speed when roads are wet.

Chalong is a practical base for exploring southern Phuket. Rawai and Nai Harn are to the south, while Kata and Karon can be reached on the western side of the island. Phuket Town is also accessible by road to the north. Consider traffic, weather, journey distance and your riding experience when deciding how far to travel.
